Tuesday...

It is Tuesday already!  Today we have started our calendar routine as well as our Michael Heggerty blue book and fundations.  With our blue book we listened for rhyming pairs, compound words and beginning and ending sounds.  In fundations we learned about the sky line, plane line, grass line and worm line.  We also met Echo the owl and baby Echo too!  After reading a story called 'The Monster Pet' we went to centers.  Our centers are:  housekeeping, sand table, shapes and sorting, blocks, computers and library.  It is fun to watch the kindergarteners playing so well together!  Later today we are going to gym and we get to meet I-Care Cat and Mrs. DiBenedetto!  She comes to each of the classrooms to help us learn the I-Care rules.  Have a wonderful Wednesday tomorrow!

Our First Day of School!

We had a great first day of school making new friends and learning new routines!  Chester the raccoon came to visit.  Although we're not sure if we saw him he did leave us a surprise to eat for snack.  We colored a picture about Chester the raccoon.   For something fun please ask your kindergartener to give you a kissing hand for you take with you and one from you for your child to take with them.  Lunch was also a lot of fun!  As one kindergartener said, 'This is the most awesomest lunch I've had.'  We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
