Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to each of our kindergarteners and our families! It has been an exciting day so far! This morning we started the day by making our Valentine's bags to hold our Valentine's cards in. The kindergarteners did a great job coloring, cutting and gluing heart butterflies to add to their bags. Then Mr. Faller came to read a Valentine story to us! We always love listening to his stories and expressions! He also told us about the Great Lakes and how Lake Superior has frozen this year for the second time since the 1970's. Later this morning we made Valentine's to 'mail' to you. Now we are getting ready for the party by passing out Valentine's. Remember there is no school on Monday due to President's Day. On Tuesday when we return we will be doing some fun projects to learn about the presidents, the penny and the quarter.
